The World Is Not Against You

THE BATTLE IS ALMOST ALWAYS INTERNAL

We all create different narratives in our minds. The most productive members of society have learned to use their inner dialogue as a tool that benefits them. Unfortunately, for a lot of us our inner voice only tells us all the bad things we want to hear.
That voice is very convincing. Especially since we hear it 100% of the time. It constantly compares us to others. It says we aren't living to our fullest potential. It gives us permission to let others control our emotions. The list goes on and on.
However, YOU ARE in total control of that inner voice without realizing it. Instead of allowing it to keep or put you into an inferior state of mind, flip it and use it to keep you in creator mode.
What is Creator Mode? This mindset allows you the freedom to explore all the things you've always wanted to do but talked yourself out of. It encourages you to let go of any fears and reservations you unnecessarily remained attached to. Creator mode gives you the strength to use your personal history as a tool for growth instead of continuing to let it hold you back. You will learn to attack challenges and not cower in the face of adversity. Once these behaviors become second nature, you will become unstoppable!
As I've grown and evolved in life I've come to the realization that my shortcomings and inadequacies were not because of anything external. They were not because of my past experiences. They were not because of my upbringing and whatever I may have lacked from a familial standpoint. They were all due to the decisions I made. Once I took full accountability everything started to change for the better. I made the decision to control my inner voice.
All too often I hear people express a 'me against the world' mentality. Really though, many of us remain in a constant push and pull with who we are and who we want to be. It's an internal struggle. External forces influence us to become followers instead of leaders while internal conflict holds us back. It's time to let go of the thought that change is complex. To change simply involves making different decisions. The difficult part is having the discipline to stick with operating differently. The aforementioned external forces can have a strong pull on us though. So yes, it takes practice. Sometimes the simplest things in life are the hardest things to do.
So rather than thinking the world is against you (or vice versa), think about what you can do to be more disciplined. Think about what adjustments you need to make to get into Creator mode. Hold yourself accountable for your present position in life not as a means to beat your self down but as a way to move forward.
Be the master of your inner voice so that it encourages you, not bring you down. Sit back and imagine the possibilities if you let go of all the BS and truly live the life you were uniquely meant to live. What does that life look like? Don't be afraid to change how you look at things for fear will always hold you back.
Sleep.
Eat.
Exercise.
Meditate.
