There are always a lot of questions when it comes to fitness. Below are answers to some of the most common questions I’ve received. There are obviously a lot more questions, so feel free to get in touch with me and ask away.

  • HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR TRAINER AT A GYM?
    Personal Training is more than a physical endeavor. I feel it's important to tap into what really makes each client tick. My experience has provided me with the tools to have a fluid approach to motivating clients, no matter what stage of the fitness spectrum they are at. Most importantly, I meet you where you are and build from there.
  • WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
    One of the most versatile and portable pieces of equipment is the kettlebell. One kettlebell can provide a myriad of ways to get a great workout. Other essentials are a yoga mat, a stability ball, TRX and a few dumbbells. I can work magic with these tools and can teach you how to also!
  • WHAT IS YOUR TRAINING STYLE/METHODOLOGY?
    My main focus is functional training. I like to build the body from the inside out. Meaning, I focus on creating a strong and stable core to support all the movement that happens around it. Your core is your foundation. In addition to core work, I'm a stickler for proper form and technique with all movements. I teach my clients to move well first, then move more. Functional mobility is a key element for safe and effective exercise and an injury-free life!
  • DO YOU PROVIDE WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS?
    Honestly, we do not focus on weight loss. Experience has taught us that the stress involved with constantly watching a number on the scale is unnecessary. We prefer to focus on building strength, improving mobility and increasing flexibility. Along with sound and consistent nutrition practices, these things will lead to a stronger and healthier YOU!
